the first class @ bellevue college

My first class was Business Software Essentials, which suits me, that we can learn how to use the basic softwares which are useful in the business situation.

As the first impression of the class in the US, it is different from that in Japan in the two respects from the Japanese points of view. Firstly, in the US, there are various kinds of people from Africa, Asia,Europe in the class, also their age range is very wide, which gave a big impact to me, that reminded me that I am from a small island country.

Secondly, people can try to communicate with teachers aggressively even in a lecture. Teachers also try to make opportunities to communicate with students. So students cannot be sleepy.

At the first class, teacher taught us the basic of basics. For example, he asked us what is the difference between hardware and software. These definitions are very easy, but it’s a little difficult for me to tell them definitely. He defined hardwares as tangible gadgets and softwares as a kinds of intangible things that can be seen on screens, for instance, icons and time on screens.
